Process Control Specialist – SA023

This is a definite term assignment of 12 months in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

This position is includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Modify, analyze, tune, troubleshoot and implement process control schemes and logics in Yokogawa DCS.
  • Modify, analyze, troubleshoot and implement process safety logic in Triconex SIS.
  • Build and modify Yokogawa DCS Graphics.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control systems networks and loops.
  • Maintain and update control systems documentation
  • Manage small size DCS and subsystems upgrades/modifications projects.

The Specialist will help trouble shoot problems in the field and work as a liaison between construction, plant operations and engineering groups. The Specialist will interface with people in roles ranging from crafts to management. Work will be required to follow construction work schedules and non-day shift as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years field experience in plant maintenance or project work.
  • Related engineering or technical degree is preferred.
  • Hands on experience in Yokogawa Centum3000 DCS configurations and graphics, a plus.
  • Work experience in Triconex SIS (Function Blocks based)
  • Good knowledge in control systems networks and topologies.
  • Good knowledge in petrochemical plants control schemes and logics troubleshooting and tuning.
  • Work experience in field instruments applications.
  • Good skills in control systems documentation.
